Our Yoga Journey


Hello Shoreline Yogis!

This week's class marks the end of this journey together. I have been so lucky to laugh, stretch, breathe, imagine and relax with all of you. A complete list of all the poses we encountered over the past five weeks are listed below. Can you believe we have learned so many? I hope that you will continue to practice these at home and make up new yoga journeys and adventures of your own.


This week we had great fun recapping what we have done over the past five weeks. We played some games, we took turns teaching poses to the rest of the class and we also explored some partner yoga moves that you can try with people at home.


I hope to see you again soon, perhaps for the next session starting November 13. We will have both a 10 PM and a 4:30 PM class so please reserve your spot now. Until we meet again keep breathing deeply, take time to stretch your body & mind and honor the amazing light in you.

POSES/ASANAS:
Sitting, on hands and/or knees: Butterfly, down dog, dolphin, lion, turtle, magic cat, camel, table, gate

On belly, on back: Crocodile, shark, bridge, fish, sphinx, grasshopper, candle

Standing: Busy bee, marching ants, warrior 1 & 2, volcano, mountain, triangle, pyramid, falling leaves, seagull

Balancing: Boat, crab, spider, turkey, tree, airplane, standing stick

Resting: Seed, pumpkin, sleeping bug, mummy/savasana
